മറ്റെല്ലാ  (ഏഴു)  ദിക്കുകളേയും ദേവന്മാർ സംരക്ഷിക്കുന്നു.

* Only this direction is in charge of an Evil Spirit.. Nruthi.
ഈ ദിക്കിനെ മാത്രം നൃതി എന്ന അസുര പിശാചാണ് സംരക്ഷിക്കുന്നത്.

* This shows how important this direction is.

തൻറെ കർത്തവ്യത്തിൽ നിന്നും  വ്യതിചലിക്കാത്തവനും കൃത്യനിഷ്ടയുള്ളവനും ആണ് യമദേവൻ.

* There is no differentiation between rich or poor before him.
പാവപ്പെട്ടവനെന്നോ പണക്കാരനെന്നോ  ഉള്ള  വ്യത്യാസം യമദേവനില്ല.

* There should not be much space left in this direction of the house.

ഏറ്റവും ശുദ്ധമായ രൂപമാണ് അഗ്നി.

It purifies the things that fell into it and that comes to it.
അതിൽ പതിക്കുന്നതും അതിലേക്ക് വരുന്നതുമായ എല്ലാത്തിനെയും അത് ശുദ്ധീകരിക്കുന്നു.

It has the power to destroy almost all things.
എല്ലാം നശിപ്പിക്കാനുള്ള ശക്തി അഗ്നിക്കുണ്ട്.

It is believed that Agni has two heads, Three legs, four ears, two hands and seven tongues.

ഈ ഭാഗത്തെ നിർമ്മാണങ്ങൾ എല്ലാം തന്നെ വളരെ ചെറുതായിരിക്കണം.

In this side, the remaining area should be very short.
നിർമ്മിതികൾ ഇല്ലാത്ത ബാക്കി ഭാഗവും വളരെ കുറവായിരിക്കണം

The flow of Rain water, Drainage water or Septic Tank, Well should be avoided in this area.
ഈ ദിക്കിലൂടെ മഴവെള്ളം ഒഴുകുന്നത്, അഴുക്കുചാൽ, സെപ്റ്റിക് ടാങ്ക്, കിണർ, ചെറിയ കുളങ്ങൾ തുടങ്ങിയവ ഒഴിവാക്കേണ്ടതാണ്.

* This direction should be very vast and lower than all other direction of the plot.
ഈ ഭാഗം വളരെ വിശാലവും മറ്റ് ദിക്കുകളേക്കാൾ താഴ്ന്നതുമായിരിക്കണം.

* This portion should be open ie, should not be covered with other constructions.
ഈ ഭാഗം തുറസ്സായതും മറ്റ് നിർമ്മിതികൾ തടസമില്ലാതിരിക്കേണ്ടതുമാണ്.

* Through this direction, sunlight falls into the plot.
ഈ ദിശയിലേക്ക് സൂര്യപ്രകാശം നേരിട്ട് പതിക്കുന്നു.

* Heading to East, we carries out almost all devotional works. 
കിഴക്കു ദർശനമായാണ്‌ നാം ദെയ്‌വീകമായ കർമ്മങ്ങൾ നിർവഹിക്കുന്നത്.

It is believed that the CORNER of every construction must be very accurate.

Through theses gods, the Vasthu controls the effects of the inhabitants in the house.

 വാസ്തു ശാസ്ത്രത്തിൽ ദിക്കുകൾക്ക് പരമപ്രധാനമായ സ്ഥാനമാണുള്ളത്

ഒരു പ്ലോട്ടിൻറെ ആകൃതി സമചതുരമോ ദീർഘ ചതുരമോ ആയിരിക്കുന്നതാണുത്തമം 

* വടക്കു കിഴക്ക് മൂല ദീർഘിപ്പിച്ച ഭൂമി അത് ഏത്ദിശയിലേക്കുള്ളതായാലും ഗൃഹനിര്മാണത്തിനുത്തമമാണെന്നു സങ്കൽപ്പിച്ചു പോരുന്നു.

* മതിൽ കെട്ടുന്നത് ഈ ആകൃതി മനസ്സിൽ കണ്ടുകൊണ്ടാകണം. 

* ചെറിയ  വ്യത്യാസം എളുപ്പത്തിൽ ആർക്കും മനസിലാക്കുകയും ഇല്ല.

*കെട്ടിടമായാലും വീടായാലും സമചതുരമോ ദീർഘചതുരമോ ആയിരിക്കുന്ന താണുത്തമം.

തെക്കുപടിഞ്ഞാറെ മൂലയിലെ കോണളവ്കൃത്യം 90 ഡിഗ്രിയായി നിലനിർത്തണം.

* ഗൃഹ നിർമ്മാണത്തിലെ പ്രധാനപ്പെട്ട ഒരു ഭാഗമാണിത്. 

* തുടർന്ന് മറ്റു മൂന്നു മൂലകളും 90 ഡിഗ്രി വരുന്ന വിധത്തിൽ കുറ്റികൾ നാട്ടേണ്ടതാണ് .

* അതിനു ശേഷം വടക്കുകിഴക്കേ മൂലയിൽ കുറ്റിയിൽ കെട്ടിയിരിക്കുന്ന ചരടുകൾ രണ്ടും അഴിച്ച് രണ്ടിലും കൃത്ത്യമായ അകലത്തിൽ രണ്ടോ മ്മൂന്നോ ഇഞ്ച് അധികമായെടുത്ത് വടക്കു കിഴക്കേ മൂലയിൽ അഞ്ചാമത്തെ കുറ്റി നാട്ടുകയും പഴയ (വടക്കുകിഴക്കേ മൂലയിലെ) കുറ്റി മാറ്റുക.

*  ഇപ്പോൾ കിട്ടുന്ന ആകൃതി ഒരു കെട്ടിട നിർമ്മാണത്തിന് അനുയോജ്യമായ പ്ലോട്ട് ആയി മാറി .

*  വാസ്തുവിൽ ദിക്കുകളെ 8 ആയി ഭാഗിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു .
*  ഓരോ ദിക്കുകൾക്കും ഓരോ ദേവതകളെ സങ്കല്പിച്ചുപോരുന്നു.
*  അഷ്ടദേവന്മാർ എന്നറിയപ്പെടുന്ന ഈ ദേവതകൾ പഞ്ചഭൂതങ്ങളെ നിയന്ത്രിക്കുന്നതായി സങ്കല്പിച്ചുപോരുന്നു.

*  ദിക്കുകൾ അനുസരിച്ചുള്ള വാസ്തു പ്രകാരമുള്ള നിർമ്മാണങ്ങൾ ഗൃഹത്തിലെ അന്തേവാസികൾക്ക് സദ്‌ഫലങ്ങൾ പ്രദാനം ചെയ്യുന്നതായി സങ്കൽപ്പിച്ചു പോരുന്നു.

* പുരയിടം വൃത്തിയാക്കുക .
* കൃത്യമായ അളവനുസരിച്ച് നാല് അതിരുകളിലും മരക്കുറ്റികൾ തറക്കുക .
* ആദ്യത്തെ കുറ്റി നാട്ടേണ്ടത് തെക്കു പടിഞ്ഞാറ് ദിക്കിലാണ്.
* ആദ്യത്തെ കുറ്റിയിൽ നിന്നും കയർകെട്ടി കൃത്യമായ അകലത്തിൽ  തെക്കു കിഴക്കേ മൂലയിൽ നാട്ടുന്ന അടുത്ത കുറ്റിയിൽ ബന്ധിക്കണം.
